Santora’s Pizza and Catering (also known as Santora’s Pizza Cafe, part of Santora Foods, LLC) (“Santora’s”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the website www.santoraspizzaandcatering.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It also serves as our notice at collection for California residents.

The Site is a brochure website. It shows our menu and catering menu and lets you send us a contact message or a catering request. There is no online store or checkout on the Site. Orders and catering arrangements are handled directly by our staff by phone, by email or in person.

What we collect

Information you give us through our forms

When you use our contact form or catering questionnaire, we collect the information you type in, which may include:

Your name, email address and phone number
Event details, such as the date, time, location, number of guests and menu preferences
Anything else you choose to write in the message or comments field

Form submissions are emailed to our staff and may also be stored on the Site so that we can follow up on your request.

Information collected automatically only with your consent

When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner asks whether you allow optional cookies. Analytics and advertising tools run only if you say yes. If you accept:

Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, records the pages you view, how you arrived at the Site, your general location (city or region level), your device and browser type, and how you interact with the Site. Google Signals is turned off, so this data is not linked to your Google account for advertising purposes, and IP addresses are anonymized by design in Google Analytics 4.
Advertisement cookies: the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads conversion linking, both loaded through Google Tag Manager, record that you visited the Site and which pages you viewed. We use this to measure whether our Facebook, Instagram or Google advertising leads to visits, and to build advertising audiences. Form contents are never sent to Meta or Google Ads.

Information collected for security regardless of cookie choice

Google reCAPTCHA v3: to protect our forms from spam and abuse, reCAPTCHA loads on every page of the Site, not only the form pages. It sends your IP address and browser and interaction signals to Google so that Google can tell people from bots. This is a strictly necessary security measure and runs regardless of your cookie choice. See our reCAPTCHA disclosure for details.
Google Maps: our contact page shows an embedded Google Map of our location. When that page loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details in order to display the map, regardless of your cookie choice, and Google may set its own cookies. Google’s Privacy Policy applies. If you prefer not to load the map, our address is printed on the page.
Server logs: our hosting provider, Bluehost, keeps standard server logs that record your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type. We use these for security and to keep the Site running.
Necessary cookies: a PHP session cookie, the cookieyes-consent cookie that remembers your cookie choices for 12 months, and a small cookie (po_c-2948) that remembers you dismissed a promotional popup.

Information from other sources

If you contact us by phone, email or social media, or place an order or book catering with us directly, we keep the details needed to serve you. Our social feeds show posts from our own Facebook and Instagram pages; we do not collect information about you through those feeds.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with the following types of recipients:

Google: for reCAPTCHA (always), and for Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads (only with your consent)
Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram): for the Meta Pixel (only with your advertising consent), and for the images in our social feeds, which may load from Facebook and Instagram servers when the feed is shown
Mailchimp: if a newsletter signup form is shown and you submit your email address, it is sent to Mailchimp, our email service provider
Bluehost: our hosting provider, which stores the Site and its server logs
Our staff and delivery or catering personnel: who need your contact and event details to prepare and deliver your order or event
Professional advisers and authorities: such as our accountants, insurers or attorneys, or government agencies when required by law, to enforce our terms or to protect the safety of people or property

Under California law, sending data to the Meta Pixel and Google Ads for advertising purposes may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. These tools never run unless you accept advertising cookies, and they never run when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. See “Your choices and rights” below.

How long we keep your information

Form submissions: up to 2 years, so we can follow up on repeat events and inquiries
Google Analytics 4 data: event-level data is kept for 2 months; aggregated reports may be kept longer
Cookie consent records: 12 months
Server logs: according to our hosting provider’s retention policy
Order and catering records: as long as needed for business, tax and legal purposes

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for advertising. Analytics continues to follow the choice you make in the cookie banner.

We will confirm your identity by asking about the details you gave us and will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will ask for proof that you gave the agent permission. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. Children

The Site is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption on the Site, reCAPTCHA protection on our forms and limited staff access to form submissions. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information such as payment card numbers through the Site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
